10:07 pm - Auto Body/Paint Shops?
Nobody in my personal network is an auto enthusiast so perhaps someone here may be able to help. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good place to have an entire car repainted? Local is preferred (Im in Corvallis), but Id be interested in hearing about anywhere between Portland and Eugene I guess. I do *not* want some cheap $200 Maaco paint job, Im looking for something proper - sanded down, primed, wet sanded, etc with a tri-coat paint. Needs to look like a new car when its done, and last a good 6+ years.

The thing about whole paint jobs is that the cost is insanely expensive to do a whole car.

So unless you're looking at a classic collectors, or vintage car, then it's usually not worth the price. Thus... macco for $200.

For a sanded down, primed, wet sanded, tri coated paint job you're easily looking into $6,000 - $10,000. Or more. For that money, and for only needing it for 6 years, I'd say maaco, or a different car all together.
